Villiger 1888 is handcrafted in the Dominican Republic under the strict Swiss quality guidelines and watchful eye of Villiger & Sons of Switzerland. Using a blend of tobaccos from several countries and known only to Mr. Heinrich Villiger and a few others, theye have created a smoking experience which will transport you to a place and time unique to your mind - with no preconceived thoughts or expectations from knowledge of the tobacco source with the finest of tobaccos available today.

For the 1888 cigars, carefully chosen tobacco leaf is selected, then hand rolled by a team of artisan torcedores in small quantities, and finally aged to perfect smoking condition. Their partner factory works closely with their leaf buyers to ensure the 1888 blend maintains the highest of standards in both appearance and taste, rewarding you, the 1888 smoker, with the ultimate experience.

Each year since, a small batch is set aside to continue the five year aging process. Made by famous cigar maker Hendrick Kelner, the Avo 787 features four different Dominican leaves from four different growing regions. This beauty is manufactured by El Titan de Bronze, a small company with deep roots in the pre-Castro Cuban cigar industry. Owner Willie Herrera, the successor to Pepin Garcia as the best cigar maker in Little Havana made and named the cigar as a tribute to the fuller-bodied cigars his family used to make in their native Cuba.

El Titan has access to some of the best tobacco in Nicaragua and uses it as both filler and binder before finishing the cigar with Ecuadorian Sun Grown or Maduro wrapper. The sophisticated blend is unlike anything that they have produced in years; hearty and full-bodied with peppery spice and notes of cedar.

This is a real nice family owned business that deserves a break. Give the Redemption a shot, whaddya say?

Yummy, yummy, this cigar is almost as good to look at as it is to smoke. The Havano wrapper is silky and smooth while the Maduro Fuerte wrapper is dark as can be and oozing with a sexy, rich, oily sheen.

This bold Nicaraguan Puro features a generous portion of Ligero and is a full-bodied, very complex smoke, yet well-balanced and refined. The flavor never ends and remains consistent from start to finish. It reminds me of the La Gloria Cubana Serie R when they first came out. Remember how good they were?
